A stunning neoclassical Ebony side table with an inlaid glass top.

Ebony’s durability and high polish make it ideal for cabinetwork and inlaying. Historically, it was prized by ancient Indian kings for its resistance to poison, used for scepters and drinking cups.

The table features a bevelled tempered glass inset into an Ebony Amara veneered frame with a hand-carved rope perimeter finished in silver metal leaf. The tapered square reeded legs lead to a veneered oval under tier with stainless-steel stringing and shaped stretchers. This handmade piece adds an elegant focal point to any interior.
