The Hambledon, a traditional English wingchair although more dainty in appearance than our other wingchairs, it stays on par with comfort and style! Named after a quiet and quaint village near our Nettlebed showroom. It is slowly becoming a best selling item while always keeping a traditional and timeless feel.

Firstly, comprised of a solid beech frame supported by traditional Mahogany Acanthus legs. Hand polished and then dowelled together. Lastly, a loose feather cushion, sits upon a English made and upholstered jute and hessian seat that has hand sewn individual coil springs for the ultimate level of comfort and traditional design.

Upholstered in a timeless velvet by GP & J Baker. Sporting Life in the colour Woodsmoke. Available in a wide range of not only traditional, but modern and vibrant colours.

We take pride in building and designing pieces like the Hambledon wingchair in our workshops for over 50 years, while continuing to reinforce our commitment to the artistry and craftsmanship of traditional English wingchairs.
