A finely hand carved and finely Mother of Pearl inlaid armchair. Nacre, also known as mother of pearl, is a composite material produced by some molluscs as an inner shell layer. It is also the material of which pearls are composed. It is strong, resilient, and iridescent.

Firstly, the serpentine back and scroll arms surround an upholstered seat with serpentine seat rails following down to acanthus carved cabriole legs. Lastly, the outside back with a central flame mahogany panel inlaid with an exquisite floral marquetry bouquet in veneer and mother of pearl.

This piece is a stunning one of a kind and embodies high end luxury. Upholstered by hand in Wemyss Fiora in the colour Cyan. A rich printed velvet that incorporates FibreGuard, which furthermore helps protect against spills and stains without having to resort to specialist cleaning.
