An exceptional bureau bookcase crafted from mahogany, veneered in golden Madrone burl and enhanced with brass line inlay. The finely cast brass Rocaille cartouche crest is positioned between a split cavetto-molded cornice, above two glazed doors that enclose an arched panel cabinet, flanked by Corinthian pilasters. Inside the cabinet are pigeonholes and nine drawers, providing ample storage and organization.

Beneath the cabinet, two candle slides are situated, while the sloping fall opens to reveal additional pigeonholes, a central cabinet flanked by brass-capped pilasters, and fourteen drawers with further hidden compartments for discreet storage.

The base of the piece features bold brass molding, with a frieze drawer flanked by lopers and three additional long drawers, all fitted with pierced brass handles. The bombe front and sides are adorned with bold brass-cast Rococo corner moldings, resting on bracket feet, adding further elegance and refinement to the design.

This remarkable piece exemplifies both sophisticated craftsmanship and functional design, making it an impressive addition to any distinguished office or study.
