There is no end to where these pieces can be placed in your home to give a room its finishing touches, with accent tables historically being placed to provide low level lighting or often used at either end of a sofa. Unlike a console table that can often be found in hallways but can also be used as a vanity table in a bedroom, as a small server in a dining room or even a small table or desk in a home office. Mirrors often hang above console tables where the pattern or carving from the table, can be reproduce on the frame of the mirror to make a complete statement piece. A stool appears to be the most common and earliest piece of furniture developed by early Egyptian culture, also used for a variety of functions not only in the home, but in later centuries, farms (the traditional milking stool), barber shops and cobblers. Occasional pieces have been used throughout history all over the home and our designs range from the simplest to the most ornate with various inlays or carvings.
