Gold Leaf Console Table

This one-of-a-kind gold leaf console table is a creative reinterpretation of an antique gilded dog that was sourced by our team. The origin of the gilded dog is somewhat mysterious; its head bears marks suggesting it might have been part of a larger structure, perhaps a console table or similar furniture piece.

Using this intriguing artifact as inspiration, we designed and crafted a unique console table. Hand-carved from wood and carefully finished with gold leaf gilding, giving it an antique patina that reflects its historical roots.

The console's black granite top adds a touch of modern elegance. The bevelled mirror backplate enhances the table's overall style and adds depth to the design. This combination of classic gilding and contemporary materials makes this console table a striking and exclusive piece, suitable for a range of interiors.
