The mirror features an additional plate set within an ornate frame of foliate C-scrolls, swags, and rocaille, all exquisitely carved and enhanced by a re-gilt finish. At the top, an oriental gentleman seated in a pagoda, flanked by flowering urns, adds a striking decorative touch that embodies the Chinoiserie aesthetic of the period.
