A circa,1820 exquisite antique water-gilded console and mirror set, showcasing a luxurious design from the Regency era.

Starting with the mirror, encased in an ornate giltwood frame adorned with ebonized and gilded motifs, featuring a combination of lyre and scroll patterns. The frame is bordered by side columns and crowned with an arched panel. The panel includes a decorative mask at its centre, flanked by elaborate cornucopias.

The mirror's design makes it a stunning focal point for any room, offering versatility as it can complement both period homes and modern spaces.

Beneath the mirror, the console's gilded frieze is embellished with anthemion (a classical floral design) and lion masks, all supported by elegantly twisted rope columns that rest on a faux marble base.

This piece dates to around 1820 and is English in origin.
