This Mahogany Wall Mirror Water Gilded in White Gold Leaf is a magnificent mirror based on an original antique  This giltwood wall mirror was inspired by an original from old photographic plates from our archives which originated from Biggs of Maidenhead, run by our family.

The frame has been hand carved in mahogany and finished in a bespoke water gilded and painted finish using 13 carat white gold leaf with the painted areas waxed to add depth and tone.

The frame comprises C scrolls trailing foliage either side of the mirror to the base where a carved swan nestles.  The top comprises a carved rose and acanthas leaves.
