A single pedestal extending dining table with disguised hinged mechanism allowing an extension leaf to be stored within it. The top is in beautifully matched burr oak veners with crossbanding to the perimeter, separated by feather inlay. The edge is reeded and an inset apron in matchng burr oak veneer sits below. The solid wood pedestal is hand carved with acanthus leaf detail, each with three downswept legs terminating in brass lion paw feet.
