A White Gold Wall Mirror mirror after an original from our family archives.  Brights of Nettlebed hold the original photographic templates from our extensive archives originating from the specialist antiques company Biggs of Maidenhead.  Biggs of Maidenhead was established in 1866 and are the family predecessors.

The White Gold Wall Mirror is entirely hand carved in mahogany and water gilded in 23¾ carat white gold leaf.  The gilding is toned with a ‘bright and matt’ effect, the highlighted areas burnished with an agate stone and there is slight distressing to expose the bole beneath.

The Hepplewhite inspired design has pierced cresting with wheat and flower filled shells hung with leafy festoons interposed with flower heads.  Inner beaded mounds applied to the glass above a ribbon-tied fan and wheat apron.
